The original rice warehouse built in 1929 has been refurbished for the benefits of Ekingura.
The logo encourporates a sense of the buildings original roof.
Before Ekingura was founded, this rice warehouse was used as a concert venue, a work-shop, and so on by local residents.
When it was decided that the original “rice-house” would be the site for Ekingura, there were a lot of scrap materials.
These materials were recycled and displayed as furniture for the present venue.
So, like the warehouse itself, there is also a sense of “renewal” depicted in our logo.
